Infrared control

The RC1 drives a Bluesound player over infrared, without going through the network or a phone. Volume, play and pause respond from the sofa. It complements the app rather than replacing it.

Ten presets

Ten numbered keys each recall a station or a list saved in BluOS. Selection takes one press, without opening the app. Presets are programmed once and for all.

Compatible players

The RC1 works with second generation and 2i Bluesound players, running BluOS 3.6.2 or later. Earlier models are not supported. The system version is shown in the app.

In the hand

The elongated body keeps the transport keys under the thumb and the digits lower down. The matte black finish limits fingerprints. No rechargeable battery or cradle is required.
