The Pearl uses Copper Long-Grain Copper Copper (LGC) conductors. The solid conductors eliminate the distortions of interaction between strands and reduce the jitter. Copper LGC is suitable for very high frequency applications such as audio ethernet, where the driver's surface circulates.
Golden nickel-tight connectors provide 100% shielding coverage. This protection prevents RF interference from affecting network audio equipment and preserves the integrity of the digital signal over the entire length of the cable.
The Pearl respects the CAT 7 standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100 meters of copper cable. High density polyethylene insulation maintains the geometry of conductive pairs and minimizes insulation-induced phase distortions.
Like all audio audio cables, the Ethernet pearl is directional: each batch of conductors is tested to listen to determine the optimal direction of connection. Arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to orient the audio stream, for example NAS to the router, then to the network drive.
