Twelve-way passive column

The MA12EX aligns twelve 2.5-inch drivers over 98.6 cm of height. It handles 150 W AES at 8 Ω and covers 75 Hz to 13 kHz—80 Hz lower than the MA12 it derives from.

Extended low end

The EX suffix marks this low-frequency extension. Where the MA12 rolls off at 155 Hz and requires a subwoofer for music, the MA12EX descends low enough to stand alone on speech and background audio.
