The Wharfedale DIAMOND 12.3Di is a 2-way sealed-cabinet Dolby Atmos speaker with a 4-inch bass driver and a 25 mm fabric dome tweeter. It covers 110 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) and is sold individually.
The front face is angled and holds two drivers: a 4-inch (100 mm) bass driver with a polypropylene cone and a 25 mm fabric dome tweeter. The crossover point is 3 kHz. The cone is made of Klarity, a blend of polypropylene and mica, with a low-damping surround.
The bass driver's magnet has an aluminium compensation ring, and the voice coil is wound on an epoxy and glass fibre bobbin. The cabinet uses a multi-layer sandwich construction to limit panel resonance. Sensitivity is 82 dB (2.83 V, 1 m) for a recommended amplifier of 20 to 100 W. Peak level reaches 95 dB.
The 2.7 L sealed cabinet needs no port. Response runs from 110 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), with 90 Hz at -6 dB. Nominal impedance is 8 Ω, compatible, dropping to 4.3 Ω at minimum, and the cable connects to the recessed terminals on the back.
The enclosure measures 145 mm high, 180 mm wide and 310 mm deep, and weighs 3.2 kg. It comes in all-black, stone grey and classic walnut. On the walnut version, the angled face stays black.
