3.1.1-channel system

The DS70TY delivers a total output of 400 W, wireless subwoofer included. The upward-facing center channel projects voices toward the listener rather than toward the furniture. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround formats are decoded natively.

Triple-level spatial sound

The processing adds an intermediate virtual layer to the sound field, active in Cinema and AI Sound Pro modes. AI Sound Pro sorts content by category and applies a separate setting to effects, music and voices. Stereo sources are converted to multichannel by a mixing algorithm.

Pairing with the LG TV

The WOW interface gives access to the soundbar's audio modes and profiles from the LG TV remote. WOW Orchestra plays the TV's speakers and the soundbar's together. The link runs through HDMI eARC.

Connections and gaming

One HDMI input, one HDMI output and one optical input let you connect sources directly to the soundbar and free up the TV's ports. VRR and ALLM compatibility at 120 Hz keeps the picture smooth in games, with HDR streams passed through in 4K. Bluetooth handles wireless playback, and rear speakers can be added as an option.
