PHANTOM CI AMP-2500 DSP amplifier, three-quarter view

Two 500 Watt Channels

The CI AMP-2500 DSP delivers 2 x 500 W into 4 ohms single-ended, or 1 x 1000 W bridged when one speaker needs the whole reserve. Bandwidth runs from 12 Hz to 20 kHz at plus or minus 0.5 dB and distortion stays below 0.05 per cent.

Low and High Impedance

Two low-impedance speaker outputs take loads from 4 to 16 ohms. A third output works at 70 V or 100 V line level, the usual way to distribute audio across a multi-zone building. An S/PDIF digital output chains a second amplifier.

Inputs and Processing

Four unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, four balanced Euroblock inputs and one S/PDIF input feed the processor. The DSP applies filtering, delay and correction per output, including the curves made for the IW SUB S-100 in-wall subwoofer.

Rack Format

The chassis measures 440 mm wide, 320 mm deep and 88 mm high, two rack units, for 5.9 kg. Standby consumption stays below 0.5 W and signal to noise ratio exceeds 108 dB A-weighted.
