Bose Professional CSP-428 processor rack-mounted

Four inputs, two zones

The CSP-428 receives four analog inputs — two RCA pairs summed to mono and two symmetrical mic/line inputs — and drives two listening zones. Two analog outputs are added to eight AmpLink digital channels, for ten outputs total.

Browser configuration

Configuration is performed in a browser over Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable: levels, routing, thresholds and priorities are set directly, without software installation. The offline utility prepares configuration before the device is even available.

AutoVolume and SmartBass

AutoVolume adjusts level in real time according to ambient noise, measured by a separate AVM-1 microphone. SmartBass corrects the low frequency spectrum at low volume. Opti-Voice reduces music during an announcement and restores it afterward.

Processor installed in a sound reinforcement rack

19-inch 1U rack

The chassis measures 48.3 cm wide, 4.4 cm tall and 21.5 cm deep. Power consumption remains under 30 W in normal operation. Cooling is active, with side-mounted ventilation.
