Bose Professional CSP-1248 processor rack-mounted

Twelve inputs, five zones

The CSP-1248 processes twelve inputs with four analog outputs and drives up to five separate listening zones. It is the larger sibling of the CSP-428: same configuration logic, three times more sources to route.

No software required

Like the 428, it is configured from a browser via the network. On a multizone installation — hotel, shopping center, sports complex — the operator retains control without software license or dedicated workstation.

AmpLink digital output

Eight channels of digital audio exit on a single RJ-45 connector to a compatible Bose amplifier. The analog cabling in the rack is reduced accordingly, and the connection remains digital all the way to the power stage.

19-inch 1U rack

48.3 cm wide, 4.4 cm tall, 21.5 cm deep: the same dimensions as the CSP-428. A rack designed for one accepts the other, which simplifies scaling up when the number of zones increases.
