Star-Quad in Cardas Grade copper

The Crosslink Speaker houses four 14.5 AWG conductors in a Star-Quad geometry, held in place by a natural cotton filler and bound with an FEP tape. The Cardas Grade copper surrounds an air-tube core, with strand cross-sections based on the golden ratio. The 9.27 mm PVC jacket is marked CL2, intended for installation inside walls.

GRS spades

The Crosslink leaves the workshop with GRS spades or CABE banana plugs. Its four conductors connect in single-wiring or bi-wiring, depending on the speaker's binding posts. With spades, tightening is done at the nut of each terminal.

Fitted with CABE plugs, the connection plugs in and pulls out without tools, which makes moving the speakers around easier. Cardas intends this cable for entry-level and mid-range stereo and multichannel systems, with a balanced, detailed sound.
