The Eole 4 fits in a sphere 130 mm across and weighs 1.4 kg. Cabasse intends it for a shelf, the wall or a stand, and pairs it with the Lipari 21 subwoofer in its 5.1 pack.
The two ways are coaxial: a 29 mm soft dome tweeter sits at the centre of a 10 cm P2C mid-woofer. The crossover splits them at 4,000 Hz. The satellite is magnetically shielded.
The frequency response starts at 150 Hz: the Eole 4 leaves the bottom of the spectrum to a subwoofer. Its 90 dB sensitivity for 1 W at 1 m and its impedance of 8 ohms nominal, 4 ohms minimum, suit a home cinema AV receiver.
The satellite takes 70 W rated and 490 W peak. It comes in black lacquer and white lacquer, and also mounts on the wall with its bracket.
