DALI KORE floorstanding speaker, hybrid tweeter module with a 35 mm dome and a ribbon, two 11.5-inch Balanced Drive SMC woofers, 148 kg. Sold individually.

The KORE is the most ambitious speaker DALI has built. It stands 1675 mm tall, weighs 148 kg and serves as the test bed for the technologies the brand then brings down to EPIKORE and RUBIKORE. It is sold individually.
A 35 mm soft textile dome covers the treble and a 10 x 55 mm ribbon takes over above 12 kHz. Response reaches 34 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB and comes down to 26 Hz at the bottom. Maximum output is 118 dB at one metre.
The crossover sits at 290, 390, 2100 and 12000 Hz. The two 11½-inch Balanced Drive SMC woofers work in two 72-litre bass reflex volumes tuned to 22 Hz; the 7-inch midrange sits in its own damped open-back enclosure, separate from the bass.
The cabinet combines a 28 mm curved birch composite, a die-cast aluminium structure, thermoset resin and moulded composite. The machined, gold-plated terminals take bare wire, spades and 4 mm plugs, bi-wired or bi-amped. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms, minimum 3.2 ohms at 72 Hz.
