RUBIKORE 8 in a living room

Three 6.5-inch Woofers

The RUBIKORE 8 lines up three 6.5-inch Clarity Cone bass/mid drivers on an 1100 mm floorstander. The two-and-a-half plus a half crossover splits the work between the three, with one alone carrying into the midrange. Response covers 38 Hz to 34 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB.

Hybrid tweeter module, dome and ribbon

Four Crossover Points

The crossover acts at 500, 800, 2400 and 14000 Hz, one point more than the RUBIKORE 6. Mundorf capacitors and SMC-KORE inductors cut circuit losses. Sensitivity reaches 90.5 dB, the highest in the series.

Ribbon to 34 kHz

The tweeter module pairs a ferrofluid-free 29 mm soft dome with a 17 x 45 mm flat ribbon, which takes over at 14000 Hz. Maximum output is 112 dB at one metre, for a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.

Thirty Kilos

The cabinet measures 1100 x 220 x 444 mm and weighs 30 kg with its grille. DALI advises 25 to 180 cm from the rear wall. Power handling runs from 40 to 250 W.
