The Wharfedale EVO 5.C is a two-way bass-reflex centre speaker with two 5-inch bass drivers and an AMT tweeter. It covers 56 Hz to 24 kHz (±3 dB) for home cinema setups.
On the EVO 5.C, a 35 × 70 mm AMT tweeter sits between two 5-inch (130 mm) woven black Kevlar bass drivers. The crossover point is 2.3 kHz. Response spans 56 Hz to 24 kHz (±3 dB), with bass extension to 49 Hz at -6 dB.
The bass-reflex cabinet holds 14 litres. It measures 520 mm wide by 188 mm high and weighs 12.5 kg. Rubber feet are supplied with the speaker.
Nominal impedance is 4 Ω, 8 Ω compatible, with a minimum of 4.1 Ω. Sensitivity reaches 89 dB (2.83 V, 1 m) and peak level 103 dB. Choose an amplifier rated 25 to 120 W.
The EVO 5.C comes in black, white, grey and walnut. The datasheet lists a walnut and black oak veneer. The speaker is 265 mm deep, 305 mm with its grille.
