The Wharfedale ELYSIAN CR is a three-way bass-reflex centre speaker with two 8.5-inch woofers, a 6-inch midrange driver and an AMT tweeter. It covers 35 Hz to 22 kHz (±3 dB).
The ELYSIAN CR is the centre speaker of the ELYSIAN R series. It is 83 cm wide, 32 cm high on its base and 37 cm deep, terminals included, and weighs 30.2 kg. It combines two woofers, a midrange driver and an AMT tweeter in a three-way design.
Two 8.5-inch (220 mm) woofers flank a 6-inch (150 mm) midrange driver topped by the 27 × 45 mm AMT tweeter. The three cone drivers use a coated glass-fibre matrix. The crossover points are 360 Hz and 2.9 kHz.
The ELYSIAN CR Stand is designed for this speaker. It stands 49.6 cm tall, 61.8 cm wide and 37.3 cm deep. Its columns are made of high-carbon steel tube.
The nominal impedance of 6 Ω, compatible with 8 Ω, drops to a minimum of 3.5 Ω. Sensitivity reaches 91 dB (2.83 V, 1 m). Drive the speaker with an amplifier rated 25 to 250 W, for a peak level of 110 dB. The response extends from 35 Hz to 22 kHz (±3 dB).
