Two 110 mm midbass drivers carry the dialogue. Their C3 cone follows a continuous curve, with no break between the centre and the edge. It keeps the bass control of a straight cone and the midrange control of a flared one. The response extends from 57 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB).
The 25 mm tweeter is hermetically closed and mechanically decoupled from the baffle. The internal pressure of the cabinet and the vibrations of the midbass drivers do not reach it. Its chamber is vented to reduce distortion. The crossover hands it the signal from 2.1 kHz.
P2P (Point to Point) braces stiffen the areas of the cabinet that need it. They limit vibrations in the bass and tighten the soundstage. The baffle receives a layer of butyl rubber under a black acrylic trim, with no visible fixings. The internal volume reaches 7.8 L.
This centre speaker comes in Satin Black, Satin White, Holme Oak and Santos Rosewood. The black baffle is the same across all finishes. It measures 430 x 164 x 243 mm and weighs 8.5 kg. Its nominal impedance is 6 ohms, with a sensitivity of 90.5 dB.
