The MP 5.3 reads CDs by a front slit and the files by the network. The mechanism accepts audio CDs and engraved CD-Rs with the RED Book standard, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The X-Stream Engine engine reaches DSD256 and PCM 384 kHz / 32-bit, with a double quadruple DAC ESS 9028 Pro.
This is where the MP 5.3 separates from the MP 3.3: its line floor uses tubes developed for AVM. A tinted glass formed in the hood lets them work. Where the 3.3 targets the linearity of the transistors, the 5.3 brings the tubing roundness.
Analog and digital outputs are set to a fixed or variable level, and the volume remains analogously controlled. The asymmetrical has 47 ohms of impedance, the symmetrical 94 ohms. The digital inputs are sensitive to the signal and light up the device as soon as a source emits.
The aluminum case, devoid of visible screws, measures 43 centimeters wide for 7.5 kilos. It comes in silver or in black, and in chrome cellini version. The RC X application adjusts to the sampling rate and the type of filter from the point of listening. The RC 3 remote control, full aluminum, is provided.
