The MP 3.3 reads the CDs by a front slit and the files by the network. The mechanism accepts audio CDs and engraved CD-Rs with the RED Book standard, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The X-Stream Engine engine reaches DSD256 and 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM.
The conversion is based on a dual duty dual duty DAC: four converters work in parallel on each channel. The MP 3.3 works entirely with transistors, which maintains its distortion in 0.001% and its crosstalk beyond 100 dB. The volume adjustment remains analog.
Analog and digital outputs are set to a fixed or variable level. The asymmetrical has 47 ohms of impedance, the symmetrical 94 ohms. The digital inputs are sensitive to the signal and light up the device as soon as a source emits. An HDMI ARC jack receives the TV sound in 192 kHz / 24-bit.
The aluminum case, devoid of visible screws, measures 43 centimeters wide for 7.5 kilos. It comes in silver or in black, and in chrome cellini version. Each device is hand-assembled at the Malsch plant, then roded several days before shipment. The RC 3 remote control, full aluminum, is provided.
