Disk and network

The MP 30.3 reads the CDs by a front slot, without drawer. The mechanism accepts audio CDs and CD-Rs in the Red Book standard, with a 20 Hz frequency response to 20 kHz. Network side, the X-Stream Engine engine reaches the DSD256 and the 384 KHz / 32-bit PCM.

ESS Converter

The digital-analog conversion is based on an ESS ES9038Q2M. The signal is oversampled at 192 kHz / 24-bit on the converter retained. A parametric tone correction and loudness remain available, with a circumvention. The OLED screen is set in brightness and lights up at the hand approach.

Manufacture in Malsch

The device is fully assembled by hand at the AVM factory in Malsch, Germany. The precision housing is devoid of visible screws. Each copy undergoes repeated controls during production and several days of break-up before shipment.

The HDMI ARC entry receives the sound from the TV in 192 kHz / 24-bit, the coaxial input rises to the same level and optics at 96 kHz / 24 bits. Two digital, coaxial and optical outputs, are resolved in volume. A USB-A plug at the back hosts hard drives and keys formatted in FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS.
