100 Series CD player

The R-CD100 connects to the R410, R610 and R810, and to those models only. The supplied 0.5 m braided USB-C cable links the two units. The player then appears as an additional CD source on the display.

Precision slot loading

A precision slot-loading mechanism takes the disc directly, with no tray. A CD servo optimised for the USB interface controls playback. The player accepts CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs in CD-DA format at 16-bit and 44.1 kHz.

100 Series DAC

The R-CD100 does not convert the signal itself. Processing goes through the digital-to-analogue converters of the R410, R610 or R810 it is connected to. The link is plug-and-play USB 2.0, with a USB power supply of 5 V, 1 A (5 W) at most.

Handmade walnut cabinet

The Fused Walnut cabinet is handmade. The top and bottom plates are precision-machined, the top one in anodised aluminium. The casing isolates the mechanism from outside vibration. The unit measures 167 × 175 × 45 mm (W × D × H) and weighs 1.2 kg.
