Pure CD transport

The 7000CDT reads the disc and passes the signal on digitally, with no converter of its own. Conversion is left to the amplifier or DAC already in place. Measured distortion stays below 0.002%.

Dedicated mechanism

The transport mechanism sits on a rigid chassis to limit vibration. Frequency response holds at −0.01 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, referenced to 1 kHz. Sampling follows the CD standard at 44.1 kHz.

USB playback

The USB port plays MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV files from a stick or drive. Disc and USB source are driven from the same remote. The display carries the 7000 series graphics.
