Pure CD transport

The 7000CDT reads the disc and passes the signal on digitally, with no internal converter. Conversion is left to the amplifier or DAC you already own. Measured distortion stays below 0.002%.

Dedicated mechanism

The playback mechanism sits on a rigid chassis to limit vibration. Frequency response holds to −0.01 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, referenced to 1 kHz. The sampling rate follows the CD standard at 44.1 kHz.

Playback from USB

The USB port reads MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV files from a stick or drive formatted in FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32. The 2.8 inch colour IPS display, with adjustable brightness, shows the format, folder and track details.

Rear connections

Coaxial and optical outputs

A coaxial output and an optical output feed the converter of your choice, with a 75 ohm output impedance. The mechanism sits in a shielded compartment with its own power supply. The 444 mm case lines up with the other components in the series.
