The BT Box S2 HD receives music wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.0, with the aptX HD, aptX and SBC codecs. The greater bandwidth and range of Bluetooth 5 keep aptX HD crisp and dynamic, even when the link briefly weakens. The range reaches 10 m in direct line of sight.

Dedicated analogue output stage

A high-quality analogue buffer stage drives the RCA output for a solid connection to the amplifier. The output level reaches 2 Vrms, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 85 dB and channel separation above 95 dB. The response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

RCA and optical outputs

The rear panel has the RCA stereo output, an optical S/PDIF Toslink output, the antenna socket and the 5 V power input. The antenna is supplied. Pairing takes 3 to 5 seconds and the receiver remembers up to 8 sources.

Compact S2 size

The case measures 11.6 cm wide, 3.7 cm high and 10.3 cm deep, and weighs 320 g. It is handmade in Europe and available in silver or black. The 5 V / 1000 mA DC outboard power supply is included.
