DALI SUB V-16 F subwoofer, 16-inch driver and 1500 W RMS of DSP amplification. THX Dominus certified for high-end home cinema installations.

The SUB V-16 F carries THX Dominus certification, the most demanding tier of the THX programme, awarded under the partnership between DALI and THX. It reaches down to 19 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB and delivers 122 dB of maximum output at one metre. In a dedicated room that leaves headroom on effect peaks before the amplifier starts limiting.
Bass comes from a single 16-inch driver with an anodised aluminium diaphragm, mounted on the largest magnet system DALI has built. Its Constant Surface Surround keeps the radiating area constant across 70 mm of peak-to-peak excursion, which limits self-resonance and distortion. Sustained low notes stay legible where a smaller subwoofer compresses.
The four Continuous Flare ports widen progressively along their whole length, a geometry that reduces air turbulence at high levels. The cabinet is black ash veneered, developed and assembled in-house at DALI. Its mass and rigidity keep the enclosure itself from vibrating.
The control panel sits on the front face, still reachable once the subwoofer stands against a wall. Volume, gain, phase, a crossover between 40 and 200 Hz and the sound modes are set without moving the cabinet. Inputs take two unbalanced RCA and two balanced XLR, in stereo, mono or LFE.
