Stable listening platform

The SQ1 floor stand takes the KEF Coda W, Q1 Meta, Q3 Meta and Q Concerto Meta speakers. Its 615 mm height, plinth included, was set by KEF's engineers in the United Kingdom to bring the driver to the ear height of a seated listener. Speakers are not included.

Hidden cabling

The speaker cable enters at the back of the column and comes out near the plinth. This internal route removes the loop of cable that usually hangs behind a stand. Seen from behind, only the column shows.

Living-room integration

The straight-edged shape of the SQ1 follows the lines of the Q Series speakers. Two finishes are offered, Slate Grey and Mineral White, to match the speaker standing on top. The footprint stays at 260 mm by 350 mm, plinth included.

Fillable aluminium column

The aluminium column takes 2 litres of inert filling per stand, sand or shot. That mass lowers the centre of gravity and cuts the vibration passed to the floor, which is why KEF recommends filling it. Adjustable rubber feet take up the unevenness of a wooden or tiled floor.
