Calculated listening height

The S3 floor stand is designed for the R3 Meta. Its dimensions were set by KEF's British engineering team so that the speaker sits at the intended listening height. The column stands 542 mm tall on a 260 by 387 mm base. Speakers are not included.

Fillable aluminium column

The aluminium construction holds the assembly rigid and stable. The pillar takes an inert filling material to increase that stability further. Spike discs protect wooden floors. Each stand weighs 6.7 kg.

Cabling hidden in the column

A mounting system fixes the speaker rigidly to the top plate. Cable management is built into that system: the cable enters the column instead of running down the outside. The rear view shows the opening provided for it.

Three matched finishes

The stand comes in slate grey, mineral white and indigo matte special edition. Its straight-lined design follows the R3 Meta, so speaker and stand read as one object. KEF's specification table names these finishes matte grey, matte white and Indigo Mat Special Edition.
