12 Inch Carbon Driver

The 12 inch driver pairs a carbon fibre cone with a dual-spider suspension and a basket opened by three ventilation channels. Its four-layer 4 inch / 102 mm voice coil is driven by a triple ferrite magnet system. The braced, sealed HDF cabinet keeps the enclosure resonances in check.

Rear face: display, controls and balanced inputs

Class D Amplification

The Class D amplifier delivers 1200 W RMS and 1700 W peak. Response runs from 25 - 200 Hz at ± 3 dB, and from 15 - 280 Hz at ± 10 dB. The low-pass filter is adjustable from 30 to 200 Hz with 12, 24, 36 or 48 dB per octave slopes.

Dual Spider Suspension

The dual-spider suspension keeps the voice coil on axis even at high excursion, which limits modulation distortion. The basket, opened by three channels, vents the pressure behind the cone. The triple ferrite magnet supplies the field this control needs.

Base and Finish

The machined feet decouple the cabinet from the floor and adjust to take up an uneven surface. The sealed HDF cabinet carries a black fabric grille on an MDF frame. The subwoofer measures 38 x 40 x 48 cm and weighs 35 kg.
