KEF Kube 15 MIE, a sealed active subwoofer with a 380 mm driver and a 300 W RMS Class D amplifier. It reaches down to 20 Hz for a maximum output of 116 dB.

The Kube 15 MIE pairs a 380 mm front-firing driver with a 300 W RMS Class D amplifier. Response reaches down to 20 Hz within plus or minus 3 dB, for a maximum output of 116 dB. That headroom covers large living rooms as well as dedicated cinema rooms.
The cabinet is sealed, with no tuned port: a closed load tightens the low-end roll-off and shortens overhang on transients. The cube measures 519 mm high, 500 mm wide and 515 mm deep, rear panel and feet included, and weighs 27.5 kg. A fabric grille and a gloss black top keep it discreet against a wall or in a corner.
KEF's Music Integrity Engine DSP algorithms coordinate the driver, the amplifier and the internal cabinet volume. iBX Intelligent Bass Extension follows the listening level and keeps the bottom octave legible at low volume and at full output alike. All processing sits in the rear plate, with no software to install.
The rear plate carries an RCA phono input, a speaker-level input and the expansion connector for the KW1 wireless module. The low-pass filter runs from 40 Hz to 140 Hz or is bypassed in the LFE position, alongside 0 or 180 degree phase and a continuous volume control. Three EQ positions, wall or cabinet, in room and corner, and three power modes, auto wake up, always on and 12 V trigger, match the subwoofer to where it stands.
