Two Harman Kardon speakers

The audio block spans the full width of the chassis: two 8 W drivers tuned by Harman Kardon, with DTS-HD, DTS Studio Sound and Dolby Digital Plus decoding. The soundstage sits in front of the image rather than under the unit. As the system grows, the HDMI eARC port sends the soundtrack to an amplifier without a second cable.

4K at 1500 ISO lumens

The 0.47-inch DLP chip resolves 3840 x 2160 native pixels and decodes HDR10 and HLG. At 1500 ISO lumens the image holds up in a living room lit for the evening, up to a 200-inch diagonal. The LED source is rated for 30,000 hours, about twenty years at four hours a day.

Set up without manual adjustment

The HORIZON Pro focuses itself, corrects keystone and locks the image onto the screen frame as soon as it is moved. The 1.2:1 throw ratio calls for roughly 2.7 m of distance for 100 inches. Obstacle detection shrinks the image rather than letting it spill onto a cabinet or a picture frame.

Rear connectivity of the XGIMI HORIZON Pro

Android TV and connectivity

Android TV runs on 2 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage, with Chromecast built in and wireless casting from a phone. The rear carries two HDMI including one eARC, two USB, wired Ethernet, optical out and a 3.5 mm jack. The chassis measures 136 x 208 x 218 mm for 2.9 kg: it moves from room to room without dismantling anything.
