Three third-generation 0.69-inch D-ILA devices display a native resolution of 4096 x 2160. Native contrast reaches 150,000:1, the highest in the Reference series, without resorting to a dynamic iris. Dynamic light source control takes dynamic contrast to infinity.
The BLU-Escent laser diode reaches 3300 ANSI lumens, for 20,000 hours quoted in standard mode. That light output feeds very large screens, up to 300 inches diagonal. Power draw is 440 watts and fan noise is rated at 24 decibels.
The all-glass 100 mm optical block gathers 18 elements in 16 groups in an aluminium barrel. The motorised 2x zoom covers a throw ratio of 1.35 to 2.75:1. Shift extends to 43 percent horizontally and 100 percent vertically, with ten installation positions available in memory.
The 8K/e-shiftX engine displays 8192 x 4320 points, with Frame Adapt HDR, the Deeper Black mode and the Vivid picture mode. Both HDMI inputs accept 48 Gbps with HDCP 2.3. The RM-MH27 remote is supplied, and control also runs over the RJ45 network, RS-232C or Control4 SDDP.
