Native contrast 100,000:1

Three third-generation 0.69-inch D-ILA devices deliver a native resolution of 4096 x 2160. The 100,000:1 native contrast is achieved without a dynamic iris, and dynamic light source control takes dynamic contrast to infinity. Gamma is processed in 12 bits.

8K e-shiftX processing

The 8K/e-shiftX engine takes the display to 8192 x 4320 points by optically shifting the pixels. Frame Adapt HDR analyses the scene frame by frame and the Deeper Black mode refines dark tones. A Vivid mode joins the Natural, Cinema and Filmmaker modes.

BLU-Escent laser 2700 lumens

The BLU-Escent laser diode delivers 2700 ANSI lumens for 20,000 hours quoted in standard mode. Power draw is 440 watts in operation and fan noise is rated at 24 decibels. No lamp needs replacing over the life of the unit.

65 mm lens

The all-glass 65 mm lens combines 17 elements in 15 groups in an aluminium barrel. The motorised 2x zoom covers a throw ratio of 1.43 to 2.92:1 and diagonals of 60 to 200 inches, with 34 percent horizontal and 80 percent vertical shift. Ten positions can be stored, and both HDMI inputs accept 48 Gbps.
