Third generation D-ILA

Three third-generation 0.69-inch D-ILA devices display a native resolution of 4096 x 2160, one per primary colour. Native contrast reaches 80,000:1 without a dynamic iris, twice that of the entry model in the series. REC.709 coverage is complete.

2300 lumens of laser

The BLU-Escent laser diode rises to 2300 ANSI lumens, for 20,000 hours quoted in standard mode. That headroom allows larger screens, or a room that is not completely dark. Power draw in operation remains 280 watts.

Connections and control

The two HDMI inputs handle 32 Gbps with HDCP 2.3 and accept 4K60p. HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG are supported, with Frame Adapt HDR and Deep Black Tone Control for dark areas. Control runs over the RJ45 network or Control4 SDDP, and the RM-MH27 remote is supplied.

Optics and installation

The 80 mm optical block holds 15 elements in 11 groups, motorised on zoom, focus and shift. The throw ratio spans 1.24 to 2.04:1 for diagonals of 60 to 200 inches. Shift covers 28 percent horizontally and 70 percent vertically, with five installation memories.
