Three native D-ILA devices

The DLA-NZ900BE carries three third-generation 0.69-inch D-ILA devices at a native 4096 x 2160. Native contrast stands at 150,000:1, without resorting to a dynamic iris. Deep Black Tone Control refines the rendering of dark areas.

BLU-Escent laser, 3300 lumens

The new BLU-Escent laser diode reaches 3300 lumens, for a quoted 20,000 hours in standard mode. That light output feeds large screens, or rooms that are not fully darkened. No lamp needs replacing over the life of the product.

8K e-shiftX processing

The second-generation 8K/e-shiftX engine displays 8192 x 4320. Frame Adapt HDR adjusts the tone curve frame by frame, and the Vivid mode joins Natural, Cinema and Film. HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG are handled, with gamma computed on 12 bits.

100 mm lens

The 100 millimetre optical block is all glass, in an aluminium barrel. The motorised 2x zoom covers a throw ratio of 1.35 to 2.75:1, with four anamorphic modes and automatic calibration by probe. Both 48 Gbps HDMI inputs accept 8K60p and 4K120p.
