The DLA-NZ7B is built on three 0.69-inch D-ILA devices at native 4K, one per primary colour. Native contrast reaches 40,000:1, measured without a dynamic iris. There is no colour wheel and no sequential display.
The 8K/e-shift engine takes the display beyond 4K by optically shifting the pixels. Second-generation Frame Adapt HDR analyses the scene frame by frame and deepens the blacks. HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG are supported.
The BLU-Escent laser diode delivers 2,200 lumens with no lamp to replace. Power draw is 420 watts in operation and fan noise is rated at 24 decibels. The panel gathers two HDMI inputs, a network socket and the installation controls.
The chassis sits on furniture or hangs from the ceiling. Lens settings are motorised and can be stored, which makes switching between picture formats simple. The backlit remote control is supplied.
