4K UHD DLP chip

The LX-NZ30 displays 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 points from a 0.47-inch DMD chip. It handles HDR10 and HLG, and JVC's Auto Tone Mapping adapts the tone curve to the content on its own. The body weighs only 5.9 kilos for 405 x 145.8 x 341 millimetres.

BLU-Escent laser source

The BLU-Escent laser source delivers 3,300 lumens, enough to project without darkening the room completely. No lamp needs replacing and brightness does not drift over time. Power draw is 360 watts in operation.

Top perspective view, adjustment dials and lens

Adjustment and optics

The 1.6x zoom and the focus are set directly on top of the unit, with the dials reachable without opening anything. Two HDMI inputs accept 4K, and the 1080p 240 Hz input serves gaming. A low latency mode completes that use.

Noise and use

Fan noise is rated at 34 decibels, and 29 in eco mode. The unit accepts a wide operating range, from 0 to 40 degrees. The remote control is supplied.
