The MAESTRO Quantum is a modern and powerful internet amplifier with Hi-Res audio playback.

The Hypex Class D modules deliver 2 × 180 W into 4 Ω and 2 × 110 W into 8 Ω at 0.1 % distortion. They drive passive speakers from 4 to 16 Ω, from a compact bookshelf model to a floorstander. Digital-to-analogue conversion runs through ESS Technology SABRE chips, and a preamp output with a 2.1 mode and high-pass filter adds a subwoofer without loading the main speakers with deep bass.
Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music and Deezer run directly on the unit, with no computer involved. AirPlay and Google Cast pick up the stream from a phone, and Roon Ready certification adds the receiver to an existing Roon library. Wi-Fi 802.11ax on 2.4 and 5 GHz sits alongside a LAN socket. With two-way Bluetooth aptX HD, you can also listen on wireless headphones.
A Dirac Live licence is included. The software measures the room and corrects the response between 20 and 500 Hz, the range where walls and corners swell or hollow out the bass. Calibration requires a measurement microphone, available as an option. Adaptive loudness and presets for sonoro speakers join the bass, treble and balance controls.
The slot-in CD player reads CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 or WMA discs. An MM phono input takes a turntable directly, with no external phono stage. The HDMI ARC input routes TV sound through your speakers, and optical and coaxial digital inputs and outputs link a player or a DAC. It all fits into 452 × 120 × 279 mm, behind a one-piece laser-cut aluminium front.
