Compact stereo receiver

The Stereo 70s delivers 75 W per channel into 8 ohms and 100 W into 6 ohms, with a discrete Class A/B power stage and HDAM modules. Its 109 mm high chassis fits where a full-size component will not. The DAB+/FM tuner, two subwoofer outputs and A/B speaker terminals complete the audio section.

Six 8K HDMI inputs

Six HDMI inputs, three of them 8K-capable, and one HDMI ARC output connect the TV, consoles and players. The unit passes HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR, upscales 1080p and 4K sources to 8K, and supports ALLM, VRR and QFT for gaming. HDCP 2.3 and HDMI pass-through in standby are supported.

HEOS streaming and Bluetooth

HEOS is built in, along with AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TuneIn radio and Roon Tested certification. Bluetooth receives music from a phone and can also send it to wireless headphones, with volume control. ALAC, FLAC and WAV files up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz play from the rear USB port or the network.

Phono, inputs and zone 2

An MM phono input, three analogue inputs, one optical and one coaxial input take traditional sources. An analogue zone 2 output feeds another room, and the setup assistant guides installation on screen. Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomePod, the unit can also be run from the Marantz AVR app and comes in Black or Silver Gold.
