The Gold On-Wall 6G mounts on the wall and projects only 124.2 mm. Its front measures 465 x 300 mm and it weighs 9 kg. It works as a front left-centre-right speaker or as a surround.
A 6-inch (152 mm) HDT C-CAM mid-bass driver covers the low and middle range. The MPD III tweeter takes over above 2.5 kHz, the only crossover point. It is the same tweeter used across the Gold Series 6G.
Sensitivity is quoted installed: 88 dB for 2.83 V at one metre. In a room, response reaches 38 Hz at -6 dB, with a port tuned to 44 Hz. Peak SPL reaches 115 dB.
Nominal impedance is 4 ohms and never falls below 5.3 ohms, the minimum measured at 200 Hz. Monitor Audio recommends 130 to 300 W, with 150 W continuous handling. Finishes are Macassar, Satin White and High Gloss Black.
