RB330 arm and double brace

This turntable carries over the hand-assembled RB330 arm of the Planar 3. Double brace technology stiffens the link between the arm base and the central bearing. A low-noise 24 V motor and an EBLT drive belt complete the drive.

12 mm glass platter

The 12 mm opti-white float glass platter is polished on its edge. A mini DIN socket takes the optional Neo external power supply, alongside the RCA output. The whole measures 447 × 117 × 360 mm with the dust cover closed and weighs 6.0 kg, transparent cover included.

Ania moving coil cartridge

The Ania cartridge accompanies the turntable but is not pre-fitted to the arm. Its miniature iron cross generator ranks among the most compact produced to date, with coils in 0.018 mm wire. It delivers 350 µV, shows an output impedance of 10 Ω and is set between 1.75 and 2.00 g.

Fono MC phono stage

The Fono MC MK4 is a phono stage dedicated to moving coil cartridges. Its loading and gain settings are made by DIP switches on the rear panel, and the factory values of 100 Ω, 1000 pF and high gain match every Rega MC cartridge. RIAA equalisation, entrusted to a MUSE operational amplifier, stays within ±0.2 dB from 100 Hz to 100 kHz. Two gain settings are selectable, 63.5 dB or 69.5 dB at 1 kHz.
