Solid silver conductors 1.25% for improved digital performance
The solid conductors eliminate the distortion of interaction between the strands and reduce the jitter. Solid silver conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications, such as HDMI audio. These signals, of a frequency as high, move almost exclusively on the surface of the driver. As the surface consists of high purity silver, the performance is very close to those of a massive silver cable, but the price is much closer to that of a massive copper cable. This is an incredibly cost-effective way to make high quality HDMI cables.
Hard cell foam insulation
Hard-cell foam insulation (HCF) guarantees the critical geometry of the pair of signals. Any solid material adjacent to a driver actually part of an imperfect circuit. The insulation of the wires and the materials of the printed circuits all absorb energy. Part of this energy is stored, then released as distortion. Hard foam insulation is similar to PE foam used in our more affordable bridge & falls, and is injected nitrogen to create air pockets. Like nitrogen (such as air) does not absorb energy and therefore does not release energy from or to the driver, the distortion is reduced. In addition, the rigidity of the material allows the cable conductors to maintain a stable relationship over the entire length of the cable, producing a stable impedance character and further minimizing distortion.
All drivers are controlled for the directionality of RF noise.
