Two cables in one

The Clear High Speed USB starts from the Clear USB and adds a second cable reserved for data, with solid silver-plated copper conductors, for a diameter of about 11.5 mm. Cardas intends it for high-resolution playback and, compared with the Clear USB, claims more depth, more realism and a better-defined image. The conductors form a double asymmetric star quad, from 21.5 to 30 AWG. In both cables each pair has its own shield and each cable additionally receives a double shield, the final shield combining aluminium/mylar tape, tinned copper and enamelled wire under a TPR jacket.
