Valve input stage

The Unico Nuovo is the new version of the Unico integrated amplifier, one of Unison Research's best-known models. Its pure Class A input stage relies on two ECC83 valves arranged as a parallel double triode, and eight power MOSFETs make up the output stage. It delivers 95 W, with a 10 dB feedback factor and 0.15% distortion at 10 W and 1 kHz. The valves are covered for 3 months, the unit for 2 years.

Five inputs, optional phono

The rear panel offers five RCA line inputs, one of which can take the optional MM / MC phono board, with 40 dB of gain in MM and 50 dB in MC. A tape output and a volume-controlled subwoofer output complete the connections, and the 4 + 4 binding posts allow speaker bi-wiring. The chassis measures 43.5 x 9.5 x 43 cm and weighs 16 kg.
