The Unico Primo is a stereo integrated amplifier that brings the technology of Unison Research's more ambitious models into a compact format. Its Class A triode input stage uses one ECC83 (12AX7) valve, and four power MOSFETs biased in dynamic Class A form the output stage. It delivers more than 80 W, with a 10 dB feedback factor and a damping factor above 50.

Assembled in Treviso

Understated lines, carefully finished surfaces and balanced proportions give the Unico Primo its elegant look. Its solid construction, careful choice of components and almost artisan assembly, carried out at the Treviso factory, reflect the brand's origins. The chassis measures 43.5 x 43 x 9.5 cm and weighs 14 kg. The valves are covered for 3 months, the unit for 2 years.

The rear panel offers five RCA line inputs, one of which can take the optional MM / MC phono board, plus a tape input. On the output side there is a tape output and an RCA subwoofer output. The optional phono stage provides 40 dB of gain in MM and 50 dB in MC, with a selectable extra 10 dB of gain.
