HEOS streaming, Roon Ready

HEOS Built-in provides access to Spotify Connect, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music and TuneIn radio, over dual-band Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The player is Roon Ready and works with AirPlay 2 and Alexa. FLAC, ALAC and WAV play at 192 kHz/24-bit, as does DSD over the network, with no gaps between tracks.

Four DACs in mono mode

Four ES9018K2M chips run in mono mode with Ultra AL32 processing. A dual clock and a jitter reducer time the conversion. Distortion falls to 0.0006 % in DSD, and dynamic range reaches 118 dB in PCM.

HDMI ARC and USB DAC

An HDMI ARC input connects the TV with a single cable, and the volume is set with the TV remote. The asynchronous USB-B input accepts a computer at up to 384 kHz/32-bit in PCM and 11.2 MHz in DSD, with ground isolation. Two optical inputs and one coaxial input complete the DAC section.

Variable and headphone outputs

A 4.5 Vrms variable output drives a power amplifier, alongside the 2.2 Vrms fixed output. The headphone amplifier delivers 150 mW into 32 ohms with three gain levels, and Bluetooth sends the sound to wireless headphones. The aluminium front panel comes in black, silver or Silver Graphite.
