TANCAST BASE 8

The base is a sandwich: a Tancast 8 foam core, an aerospace material, taken between two HPL laminated skin. The set weighs little and does not store energy, which avoids a platinum reinjects its own vibrations in the groove. Brace double technology rigidly connects the axle of the bearing and the base of the arm. The matte gray polaris finish is lined with a glossy black song.

Double layer glass tray

The tray combines two layers of glass, one smoke, the other clear, assembled so as to concentrate the mass on the periphery. This distribution produces an inertia steering wheel effect: the speed holds without audible drift from one end of one side. It rests on a sub-tray machined in one piece of aluminum, driven by the original rise.

Neo MK2 power supply

Neo MK2 power supply is provided and connected by a mini-DIN connector. It itself generates the signal that drives the 24 V Low Vibration engine instead of taking it over the mains. The change of speed is the button, and an electronic fine adjustment corrects the drift. The housing is 180 × 50 × 155 mm.

The RB330 arm is hand assembled around an aluminum tube with variable section, with a stainless steel counterweight and wearing one to one. The exit is done in RCA. The cell is not provided: Rega Offers the factory mounting of an Nd5 or Nd7 with mobile magnet, or an Aia Pro with mobile coil. Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
