Vinyl platinum with direct training

Conventional analog vinyl plates have problems of degradation of audio quality induced by factors such as low speed vibrations during irregular rotation and rotation or "cogging". The latter is removed in the SL-1200G, thanks to the use of a new iron-driven direct drive motor. In addition, the double rotor reduces the load of the bearings while preserving a high torque and reducing the low vibrations during rotation. These factors make it possible to reproduce the hot and incredibly detailed sounds engraved on the analog recordings.
Thanks to the engine control technology developed for Blu-ray devices and activation of the drive mode that depends on the engine operation status, you enjoy a high start torque and high speed stability.
The platinum tray consists of three layers of brass alloy and die cast aluminum. Covered with a soundproof rubber protection, the entire rear surface removes any unnecessary resonance to provide excellent stiffness while damping vibrations. This results in excellent rotational stability and an inertial mass greater than that of SP-10MK2, the standard direct drive plate used in radio stations around the world. It also has an inertial mass twice above the SL-1200MK5.
When the weight distribution of the turntable is uneven, vibration or excessive noise may occur during rotation resulting in degradation of audio quality. Therefore, the turn of the rotating tray is factory adjusted with the high precision adjustment hardware of each element once the disk rotate assembled. The turntables having benefited from this setting carries the "Balanced" (balanced) label.
The reading arm consists of ultra-light magnesium offering excellent damping effect. Cold stretching improves the characteristics of the material and allows the extreme precision required. In addition, the high sensitivity of the initial movement is achieved through the traditional Cardan suspension manufacturing method of Technics Characterized by the intersection of the horizontal axis and the vertical rotation axis in a single central point, as well as by high precision bearings thanks to a cut housing.
A 10 mm aluminum-thick brushed upper panel was added to the three preceding cast aluminum layers, bmc and robust rubber of the SL-1200MK5. This four-layer manufacture combines high rigidity with high quality finish.
The use of gold-plated milled ground connectors and mounds prevents the degradation of audio quality while simplifying the connection and disconnection of the cables. In addition, the use of metal protection inside the housing reduces the effects of external noise.
