Belt Drive

A DC motor drives the platter through a belt. Both 33 and 45 rpm speeds are covered, with a speed variation of 2 per cent. Wow and flutter stands at 0.2 per cent.

Aluminium Platter

The platter is die-cast in aluminium. The moving magnet cartridge delivers 2.5 mV at 1 kHz. Signal-to-noise ratio reaches 67 dB or better, A-weighted.

Network and Bluetooth

The turntable joins the network over Wi-Fi on 2.4 and 5 GHz, or through its Ethernet socket. AirPlay and Bluetooth version 4.2 round out the wireless routes. A record can thus be streamed to the other MusicCast devices in the house.

Line and Phono Outputs

The rear panel carries a line output and a phono output. The built-in preamplifier can therefore be bypassed if the amplifier has its own phono input. The chassis measures 45.0 cm wide, 13.6 cm high and 36.8 cm deep, at 5.7 kg.
