Suspended sub-chassis

The TD 1500 rests on a sub-chassis suspended by three conical springs, which decouples the platter and arm from the motor and plinth. This suspension, adjusted from above through the platter, filters out external vibration. It is the direct heir of the legendary TD 150.

Regulated motor, 1.4 kg platter

A DC motor, watched by an incremental encoder, corrects speed drift continuously and holds excellent wow and flutter. The 12-inch die-cast aluminium platter weighs 1.4 kg and is 22 mm thick. This mass adds inertia and steadies the rotation.

TP 150 arm and 2M Bronze cartridge

The TP 150 arm, with an SME connector and 14-gram effective mass, adjusts finely; anti-skating works through a weight guided over a ruby bearing. An Ortofon 2M Bronze with a nude fine-line diamond arrives mounted. Balanced XLR outputs join the RCA for a truly balanced link with an MC cartridge.

Two gloss finishes

The chassis measures 420 x 360 x 150 mm at 7.9 kg. The TD 1500 comes in gloss black and gloss walnut. Its suspension and SME arm make it a base that lasts and grows.
