The base of the RPM 9 carbon combines a CNC machined MDF plate and resin-coated steel balls. This sandwich construction weighs heavy and cuts the resonances before they reach the cell. A carbon fiber skin covers the plinth.
The 7.2 kg metal tray turns on an inverted bearing. Its mass stabilizes the speed, and the damping TPE absorbs the micro-vibrations of the tray itself.
The 9-inch EVO arm uses a conical carbon fiber tube and inverted bearing. Its effective mass of 8 g is suitable for MC cells at low compliance.
The deported engine holds its own base, separated from the base. An electronic control switches between 33 and 45 turns and maintains the speed at ± 0.1%.
