The 3 carbon RPM carries a 10-inch s-shaped arm, carbon fiber and aluminum tube. Its effective mass of 18 g dampens the resonances of the tube and keeps the reading tip in the furrow.
The AC power motor arises away from the base, connected by a single belt. The mechanical vibrations of the engine do not go back to the tray. The background noise goes down to -71 dB.
The antiskating force is set by magnets, wireless or counterweight pendulum. The setting holds in time and does not add any friction to the arm.
The base receives a black piano lacquer, red or white. The base of the baseboard and its carbon coating limit the colors transmitted to the tray.
