Black subwoofer with wood slats on a parquet floor, next to an armchair

Natural wood slats

The Premium Wood Grille dresses the front of the REL S/550 in horizontal natural wood slats. The subwoofer gains warmth and texture, and sits more easily in a room furnished with wood. Being a natural material, grain and colour vary from one grille to the next.

Two white subwoofers with wood-slatted fronts, three-quarter view

One version per finish

REL makes the grille in two versions, one for the S/550 Black and one for the S/550 White. The wood is the same; choose the Black or White version to match the finish of your S/550. The grille fits easily onto the front of the subwoofer.

Gloss black subwoofer with side handle and a wood-slatted front

Alternative to the cloth grille

The S/550 ships with a cloth grille; the Premium Wood Grille takes its place when you want a warmer look. REL designs it to enhance the subwoofer without compromising its performance. It can be ordered on its own for a S/550 you already own, or together with the subwoofer.

Six black subwoofers stacked in two columns with wood-slatted fronts

Sold individually

The price covers one grille, for a single S/550. For a stereo pair or a six-subwoofer line array, allow one grille per cabinet. The subwoofer is not included and is sold separately.

Black = Wood, for S/550 Black; White = Wood, for S/550 White
