Black subwoofer with wood slats at the foot of a dark wall, on a rug

Natural wood slats

The Premium Wood Grille dresses the front of the REL Planar PL-2 in horizontal natural wood slats. The subwoofer gains warmth and texture, and sits more easily in a room furnished with wood. Being a natural material, grain and colour vary from one grille to the next.

One version per finish

REL makes the grille in two versions, one for the Planar PL-2 Black and one for the Planar PL-2 White. The wood is the same; choose the Black or White version to match the finish of your Planar PL-2. The grille fits easily onto the front of the subwoofer.

Alternative to the cloth grille

The Planar PL-2 ships with a cloth grille; the Premium Wood Grille takes its place when you want a warmer look. REL designs it to enhance the subwoofer without compromising its performance. It can be ordered on its own for a Planar PL-2 you already own, or together with the subwoofer.

Sold individually

The price covers one grille, for a single Planar PL-2. For a stereo pair of two subwoofers, order two grilles. The subwoofer is not included and is sold separately.
